Diamond Lapping Film — 0.5 to 30 Micron

Monocrystalline and polycrystalline diamond lapping film for the hardest materials: fiber optic connector endfaces, ceramics, sapphire and tungsten carbide. Tight particle-size distribution keeps scratch depth predictable from batch to batch — the reason connector factories standardize on diamond film for final polish. 1 micron lapping film and 3 micron diamond lapping film sheets and discs are stocked for fast shipment.

Aluminum Oxide & Cerium Oxide Lapping Film

Aluminum oxide lapping film (AO) covers general lapping and pre-polish from 0.3 to 30 micron; cerium oxide film (CO) delivers the final optical-grade finish on glass. Together they form the standard sequence for optical component lapping, metallography and fiber polishing where diamond is not required — at a significantly lower cost per polish step.
